1263 Feasibility Study

1263 Public Hearing - February 25, 2022

Indiana Code 36-1-8-19 says that before a county could consider the construction or reconstruction of a jail, it must first have a feasibility study prepared and then hold a public hearing on the contents of the feasibility study. The Board of Commissioners have a statutory requirement to provide a jail for the Allen County Sheriff to operate. The Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on Friday, February 25, 2022, on the feasibility study prepared for them. The feasibility study and the presentation made at the public hearing from Elevatus Architecture and BakerTilly may be found on this page.

A rebroadcast of the Public Hearing can be viewed on the ACPL Public Access TV website.
