Allen County, Indiana – The Allen County Human Resources Department is hosting its inaugural annual job fair on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in the Appleseed Room of the Memorial Coliseum, from 11 AM to 3:30 PM.
With over 1,800 full time, part time, and seasonal employees, Allen County is one of the top employers in the area. County government provides a vast array of services that require a diversified workforce, so the requirements for county career opportunities span multi-industry skill sets, backgrounds, and education. Some examples include community health, law enforcement, fire and emergency services, building inspection, mechanical engineering, and administrative services.
Representatives from many of the 30+ county departments, as well as the Fire Districts, will be on hand to discuss current job availability; departments such as Highway, Youth Services Center, Department of Health, Allen County Community Corrections, Human Resources, the Coliseum and more.
Allen County Human Resource Director Nancy Steigmeyer shared that, “Allen County provides competitive pay and benefits, along with great leadership development opportunities. We strive to be an employer of choice and have an array of career options. Allen County departments are made up of high-caliber employees. We’re looking for additional qualified talent to join our team.”
Attendees may bring a resume, but all applications are completed online. Computer kiosks will be available to apply for a career that day. Free parking is provided during the fair. Please enter through the Conference Center doors. To view a list of openings, visit www.allencountyjobs.us.
